Instructor: Ruth Gipe Bring color and life to your artwork in Beautiful Birds, a 4-week pastel workshop designed for artists who want to explore the beauty, texture, and vibrancy of birds through soft pastels. Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this course focuses on capturing the delicate details and bold colors that make birds such inspiring subjects. Students will learn how to use pastels to create rich layers, soft blends, and striking textures while developing an understanding of color harmony, feather structure, and composition. From simple studies to more detailed pieces, each week builds confidence and skill in working with this versatile medium. With step-by-step guidance and room for personal creativity, artists will create expressive bird portraits that highlight both realism and artistic style.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Period: Participants are entitled to cancel their enrollment in the Class by providing written notice to V.A.A.S. at least 30 days prior to the Class’s start date without incurring any cancellation fee. Cancellation Fees: Cancellations made after the specified period will be subject to a cancellation fee of $50 (initial reservation fee) Course/Class Rescheduling: Participants may request to reschedule their enrollment to a future session by providing written notice to V.A.A.S. at least 14 days prior to the Class’s start date. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
